Does the guy in the purple shirt on the cover of The Mark of Athena have a beard. My friends and I are having a huge debate about this. If you could get back to me, that would be most helpful.

That's so funny. No Jason does not have a beard. I think when they printed the cover it got a little darker in that area, so the shadow that falls across his face does look a little like a five o'clock shadow.
I hope this settles your debate.
